Have you ever come across where the output from the email templates is not as expected?
I recently came across a situation where everything was working fine and I was using Japanese translation in my subject of the visual force email template. But when I was testing it all the emails for the Japanese language were having an issue in the Subject line. It was showing ??????
Solution:
The encoding was not correct, It should be Unicode (UTF-8)
